With the theme “Teamwork as a Challenge – New scientific and social
developments in handling the situation after TBI” the TBI-Challenge.eu 2010 is
the 1st European conference for Traumatic Brain Injury.
It is aiming the difficulties to coordinate the emergency help, the intensive care
and the single elements of the rehabilitation chain, to consequently sustain
persons affected by TBI, who are the injured themselves and the relatives.
During the last years allot of approaches to medical support, rehabilitation and
social reintegration where made and solutions found to improve life after TBI.
This conference shall be the biennial platform for exchange of experience and
presentation of research and assumptions on a scientific base.
The European Association of Brain Injured and Families (BIF), supported by the
Austrian Society of Neurorehabilitation (ÖGNR), the Austrian Society of TBI
(ÖGSTHT) and the European Brain Injury Society (EBIS), wants to cordially invite
all professionals dealing with TBI and TBI affected persons to join the TBIChallenge.

Abstracts: Send a short abstract (not more than 300 words) with introduction,
methods, results and conclusion.
The abstracts are reviewed and the review committee will make a decision, if the
presentation will be in the panel, on a poster basis or if the subject shall be elaborated in a workshop.
The language of the TBI-Challenge.eu 2010 is English.
Deadline for Abstracts: October 16th 2009
The venue of the TBI-Challenge.eu 2010 will be the faculty of law in the centre of
Vienna.
